One component silicone potting adhesives generally need to be cured at high temperature. Some varieties require curing at a temperature of 80 degrees, and some require curing at a temperature of more than 150 degrees. Generally, the lower the curing temperature is required, the shorter the storage period at room temperature is, and vice versa. Therefore, many single component silicone potting adhesives are even required to be stored in a low-temperature refrigerator.
